Dribble For Fundraiser
In 2014, our good friend and teammate was diagnosed with Stage 4 Testicular Cancer. With chemotherapy and hospital bills piling up, we started to think of ways we could help. That's when we thought of "Dribble For Tak!" We thought that there was no better way to raise funds than to bring our strong community together. We put together one of the biggest clinics you've ever seen; OCO's "The Crew" volunteered to cook some of the best BBQ around to also help raise funds, and our friends brought even more support through bake sales. After the overwhelming turnout and support, we knew we had to continue this great fundraiser to help our community in any way we could.
Canned Food Drive
In 2017, we started a Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive. Every November, players from our club teams and training sessions donate canned goods and many other items for families that we sponsor in the city of Garden Grove. We put together Thanksgiving baskets consisting of turkies, desserts, vegetables, and pastries and then our youth players deliver these baskets to the homes of our sponsors families. We have been able to annually raise over 1,000 canned!
Christmas Toy Drive & Clinic
This year we will be hosting a Christmas Toy Drive, basketball clinic, and bbq for the at-risk youth in the city of Garden Grove. Players from our club teams and training sessions will be able to donate toys and gift cards through the months of November and December. Ironmen Basketball will be hosting a basketball clinic, while every participant will be given a wrapped toy from Santa Clause. A BBQ will follow for the Clinic participants and their families.
